Overview
Prolific is inviting experienced AI / Machine Learning Engineer leaders and decision-makers to take part in upcoming research projects focused on workflow management tools and development processes. The work is intended for professionals who help evaluate, select, purchase, implement, or influence tool decisions within their organizations.
This is a bench-style opportunity: once your credentials are verified, you may become eligible for research tasks as matching projects become available. Participants are expected to complete a short 10- to 15-minute screener first, and successful candidates may be invited to paid research activities.
Researchers for this type of work may pay up to $200 per hour. Some tasks may require up to one hour of uninterrupted work, although many are shorter.
Eligibility highlights
- Manager-level experience or above
- Background in AI / Machine Learning Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Product Management, or UX/Product Design
- Current use of, or active consideration of, workflow management tools
- Involvement in decisions about development, product, or workflow management tools
What You’ll Do
- Complete a paid screener to assess your background and fit for specific research tasks
- Take part in AI-moderated interviews and/or written tasks
- Complete qualitative surveys and feedback activities
- Share insights about workflow management practices, tool selection, and organizational needs
Requirements
- Manager-level experience or higher in software engineering, product management, or product design functions
- Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, or managing workflow management tools
- Familiarity with software development, product development, or design workflows
- Involvement in purchasing decisions, budgeting, tool selection, or strategic recommendations related to development and collaboration tools
- Direct experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, GitHub Projects, GitLab Issues/Boards, Shortcut, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com
