Content Writer & Editor

Overview

micro1 is seeking Content Writer & Editor contractors for a remote project focused on text quality and AI evaluation. The work supports the training of next-generation AI systems through high-quality written input and editorial review. No prior AI experience is required; strong domain knowledge and writing/editing judgment are the main priorities.

Scope of Work

• Assess written content for clarity, coherence, and accuracy against project standards.
• Provide detailed writing evaluations and constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Identify and annotate AI-generated text, including low-quality or artificial-sounding content.
• Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, and tone.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists to share editorial insights.
• Write analyses and recommendations that help improve AI training datasets.
• Complete assignments on time while maintaining consistency and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, or prior experience teaching English.
• Native-level English proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to distinguish between human-written and AI-generated text.
• Previous work on content assessment, editorial review, or quality assurance projects.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
