Japanese ChatGPT User

Overview

Mercor is looking for Japan-based experts who are heavy ChatGPT users and are willing to share their personal ChatGPT history to support model research and evaluation. This is an hourly, fully remote independent contractor opportunity with work completed on your own schedule. Pay is $50 per hour. The program has two phases: an initial one-time consent and history-sharing step, followed by ongoing project work for applicants who complete phase one.

What You'll Do

• Complete a short consent form authorizing access to your personal ChatGPT history.
• Share or link your ChatGPT history according to the instructions provided in the application.
• Provide the email address associated with your personal ChatGPT account.
• Self-verify that you meet the eligibility criteria before submission.

Eligibility Requirements

• Based in Japan.
• Native Japanese speaker.
• Have lived and studied in Japan for at least 3–5 years.
• Your ChatGPT conversations are primarily in Japanese.
• Heavy ChatGPT usage: at least 40 conversations over the past nine months.
• At least one saved memory on your ChatGPT account.
• A personal ChatGPT account that is more than 3 months old.
• Only personal ChatGPT accounts qualify; work, employer, and enterprise accounts are not eligible.

Contract Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• The role is fully remote and can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported for this opportunity.
• Eligibility is confirmed after the consent form is submitted, and verification may take up to two weeks.
