Video Annotation Specialist – AI Training

Job Description

micro1 is hiring 1,000 Video Annotation Specialists for a remote AI training project focused on video and audio analysis.

You’ll review short video and audio clips, evaluate AI-generated descriptions, identify errors or inconsistencies, and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines.

No prior AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Review short video and audio clips for detailed annotation and assessment.
• Examine both visual and audio elements of the provided content.
• Evaluate AI-generated descriptions for accuracy.
• Check whether descriptions align with the content and project guidelines.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and other quality issues.
• Provide clear and concise written feedback about issues found.
• Apply project guidelines consistently when labeling and evaluating content.
• Flag content that does not meet project standards or requires clarification.
• Work with project coordinators to maintain annotation quality and data integrity.
• Suggest improvements to annotation and quality assurance processes where appropriate.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to make consistent, objective judgments.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to provide detailed written feedback.
• Comfortable following structured annotation and evaluation guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
• Ability to learn new annotation tools, workflows, and quality standards.
• Commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with data annotation, data labeling, or content moderation.
• Video or audio annotation experience is particularly valuable.
• Familiarity with content review or guideline-based evaluation.
• Experience working on generalist AI training or evaluation projects is a plus.

Contract & Compensation

This is a remote contractor opportunity with 1,000 openings.

Compensation is advertised at $8–$10 per hour.
