Overview
Mercor is seeking an Auditor for Project Rachel. This is a private shortlist listing and is not open for general applications; candidates are added directly by the project team. The role is a fully remote independent contractor engagement paid hourly.
The work focuses on auditing legal experts' review output. You will review commentary adjudications and structural QC findings, verify whether each flag is defensible, and confirm that findings are supported by a quotable line from the prompt, rubric, or source documents. The assignment spans cross-domain material, including corporate M&A, litigation, data privacy and cybersecurity, and real estate.
What You'll Do
- Audit legal expert review output for Project Rachel.
- Check commentary adjudications and structural QC findings for defensibility.
- Verify that each flag is grounded in a quotable line from the prompt, rubric, or source documents.
- Return work where a finding is asserted rather than evidenced.
Contract & Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- The role is fully remote and can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Payments are made weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
