Overview
micro1 is seeking Video Editors for a remote contractor project focused on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. This is an AI training and video annotation assignment, not a traditional editing or post-production role. The project includes a large volume of openings.
What You'll Do
- Review footage of robotic arms performing tasks using detailed annotation and grading guidelines.
- Label actions, object interactions, transitions, task outcomes, errors, and other relevant events within each video segment.
- Use frame-by-frame analysis, timing awareness, and continuity judgment to determine when actions begin, change, and end.
- Work with annotation tools to mark events accurately and consistently.
- Flag unclear footage, visual inconsistencies, and ambiguous moments, and add concise notes when needed.
- Support quality control by reviewing annotations and providing feedback when requested.
- Complete assigned batches accurately and within the expected deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in video editing, post-production, filmmaking, audiovisual production, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing footage closely for timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar software.
- Strong accuracy during repetitive frame-level review.
- Ability to document visual observations clearly and objectively in writing.
- Experience with video annotation, visual QA, AI training projects, or robotics is a plus.
