micro1 is seeking Music Editors for a remote video annotation project with 10,000 openings. The work centers on reviewing footage closely, labeling events accurately, and applying detailed guidelines consistently across many sessions. No prior AI experience is required; strong timing and attention to detail are the key needs.
What You'll Do
- Watch video clips and annotate them according to project guidelines.
- Mark the exact start and end points for actions and events.
- Identify scene changes, cuts, and shifts in pacing or intensity.
- Label the tone or mood of sections and note when it changes.
- Apply the same labeling rules consistently across clips.
- Review your own work and correct boundaries that are slightly off.
- Flag unclear or borderline cases to project leads rather than guessing.
- Help improve the annotation guidelines when recurring gaps or confusion appear.
- Complete assigned annotation volume on time and at the required quality level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in post-production or editorial work such as music editing, video editing, or sound editing.
- Strong sense of timing and frame-level precision.
- Careful, consistent approach to long sessions of similar material.
- Comfort following written guidelines exactly.
- Ability to recognize when footage does not fit the rules and escalate it appropriately.
- Clear written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
- Previous video annotation or data labeling experience is a plus.
