Overview

micro1 is engaging Secretary & Admin Assistants for a customer project focused on creating expert-authored evaluation tasks for a frontier AI benchmark. This contractor role is remote and is designed for professionals whose administrative domain knowledge can help train next-generation AI systems through realistic, real-world task scenarios.

The work centers on simulating authentic administrative challenges and producing high-quality inputs that reflect the complexity of day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Design realistic, process-driven evaluation tasks that involve multi-tool coordination such as calendar reconciliation, travel and expense workflows, records management, and professional correspondence.
  • Create supporting artifacts like emails, calendar entries, receipts, meeting notes, and contact records for each scenario.
  • Define the correct solution path and outline the step-by-step decisions an expert would make.
  • Build detailed rubrics with 35+ criteria that evaluate both process adherence and nuanced judgment.
  • Document administrative workflows and recommend improvements based on current best practices.
  • Work with project leads to calibrate task difficulty and align scenarios with real-world challenges faced by experienced professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years supporting teams or departments in a professional administrative capacity, ideally within mid- to large-sized organizations.
  • Experience owning recurring workflows beyond one-off assignments.
  • Background in documenting, evaluating, and improving inherited administrative procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for professional correspondence.
  • High attention to detail in both content creation and process documentation.
  • Comfort using multiple digital tools, platforms, and data formats such as CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, and technical documents.
  • Interest in helping improve intelligent systems by sharing domain-specific knowledge and best practices.

Compensation

Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets the project specifications. Submission requirements apply, and experts must complete a minimum number of tasks per week.

Schedule

Selected experts are expected to begin first tasks within 24–48 hours after onboarding. The team typically fills roles within 48 hours and is looking for people who can start right away.
