Overview
micro1 is seeking Junior Transactional Attorneys for a part-time contractor role at the intersection of law and legal AI. The work is geared toward early-career lawyers with foundational experience in drafting, reviewing, and redlining contracts, especially in tech-related transactional work. There are 100 openings for this opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and provide feedback to improve model performance and output precision.
- Apply objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to assess AI performance on contract tasks consistently.
- Work with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of transactional experience, either in-house or at a law firm.
- Exposure to agreements such as MSAs and NDAs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
- Ability to turn legal knowledge into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
- Experience or internship at a corporate law firm, ideally with exposure to M&A or fund formation work.
