Overview
micro1 is seeking 15 Research & Insights Experts for a remote contractor project focused on improving executive-level business presentations. The work supports training next-generation AI systems, and no prior AI experience is required if you bring strong domain knowledge in research and insights.
Scope of Work
- Receive images of research and insights slides and rebuild them in Microsoft PowerPoint with clearer structure and stronger visual impact.
- Improve slide quality through presentation design, data visualization, and content editing while preserving the original research meaning and accuracy.
- Prepare a detailed log for each assignment explaining what was changed and why certain elements were retained or removed.
- Keep factual accuracy intact, including domain definitions, caveats, and research context.
- Use visual storytelling principles, message hierarchy, supported titles, and appropriate exhibit selection for executive presentations.
- Work in task-based, sprint-driven cycles with flexible timing; each slide engagement is expected to take about 1–2 hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, or a related quantitative research discipline.
- Experience building or refining executive or client-facing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in data visualization, slide reconstruction, and presentation design for research communication.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain methodological choices and defend design and messaging decisions.
- Background as a practitioner or consultant in research and insights is preferred.
- Experience in AI training, evaluation, or rubric development is a plus.
