Overview
micro1 is engaging Game Designers and Gameplay Developers for a remote contractor project focused on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. This is an AI training and data annotation project, not a traditional game development assignment. There are 10,000 openings.
What You'll Do
- Review video footage of robotic arms performing tasks using detailed annotation and grading guidelines provided by the customer.
- Identify and label actions, object interactions, state changes, task outcomes, errors, and other relevant events within each video segment.
- Use systems thinking to interpret robotic behavior, including action sequences, system states, cause and effect, and success or failure conditions.
- Work with dedicated annotation tools to tag video content precisely and consistently.
- Flag unclear or ambiguous moments and explain your reasoning in concise written notes.
- Support quality control by reviewing annotations and offering constructive feedback when requested.
- Complete assigned batches accurately and within established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional or academic background in game design, gameplay development, technical game design, game QA, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of action sequences, object states, interactions, rules, and cause-and-effect relationships.
- Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, or documenting gameplay behavior.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to apply the same criteria consistently across repetitive visual tasks.
- Strong written communication skills for explaining observations and edge cases clearly.
- Experience with data annotation, visual QA, AI training projects, or robotics is helpful but not required.
