Egocentric Video Contributor

Overview

Vetto is looking for contributors to record real-world activities from a first-person perspective to help train and evaluate AI systems. This is paid, task-based work, and contributors will record natural, unedited footage of activities they already know how to do while describing their actions out loud in English or Portuguese.

What You'll Do

• Use a smartphone mounted on a head strap to record activities from your own point of view.
• Perform real activities naturally from start to finish.
• Describe what you are doing out loud in Portuguese or English while recording.
• Keep your hands, tools, and relevant objects visible in the frame.
• Upload recordings after each session.
• Follow privacy, quality, and recording guidelines.

Selection Process

1. Application: Complete the short application form.
2. Video test: If eligible, you may be asked to submit a short test recording. The main test is a 3-minute first-person video showing you performing an activity while narrating in Portuguese. You may also be asked to submit a 60-second scene-description video.
3. Identity verification and onboarding: Approved contributors complete identity verification and required consent forms before paid work begins.
4. Start recording: New contributors begin with a short trial period where recordings receive additional quality review before moving into regular production.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Comfortably speak English or Portuguese.
• Have a compatible smartphone.
• Have reliable Wi-Fi for uploading large video files.
• Be comfortable wearing a smartphone on a head mount while recording.
• Be willing to verify identity before starting paid work.
• Follow all privacy and recording guidelines.

Important Notes

• Only record activities you actually know how to perform.
• Do not record identifiable third parties, children, confidential documents, passwords, or other sensitive information.
• AI use is not allowed for the application or tasks.
