Overview
micro1 is seeking seasoned In-House Counsel for a part-time contractor role at the intersection of legal work and AI. The project focuses on contract redlining workflows used to train and evaluate advanced AI models, with an emphasis on real-world legal judgment in technology transactions.
This is a remote opportunity with 100 openings. Compensation is task-based: experts are paid per completed task that meets the project specifications. The average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task, and the effective hourly rate will depend on the number of tasks completed and signed off.
What You'll Do
- Simulate contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve model quality and precision.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
- Work with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions.
- Hands-on experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDA agreements, and derivatives-related terms.
- Experience with contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with careful attention to detail.
- Analytical ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
