Overview
micro1 is seeking seasoned Corporate Transactions Attorneys for a part-time, remote contractor role focused on legal AI. The work centers on helping train and evaluate AI systems for contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining, especially in the tech field. There are 100 openings.
What You'll Do
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve precision and performance.
- Build objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
- Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review tools.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
- Experience with standard M&A agreements, including APAs and SPAs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to turn legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
- Experience working with private equity firms.
Compensation
Compensation is task-based. Experts are paid per completed task that meets project specifications. The average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task, and effective hourly earnings depend on the number of tasks completed and approved.
