Overview
micro1 is seeking seasoned in-house General Counsels for a part-time, remote contractor role focused on legal AI. The work is centered on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts in the tech field, with an emphasis on helping train and evaluate AI systems for real-world legal work. The project includes 100 openings.
What You'll Do
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve precision and output quality.
- Help create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
- Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions.
- Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and DPAs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability and the capacity to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
Compensation
Compensation is task-based. Experts are paid per completed task that meets project specifications. The average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task, and effective hourly earnings depend on how many tasks are completed and signed off.
