Overview
DATAmundi is seeking Canada-based contributors who are fluent or near-native in French to support a remote AI data collection project. This is a flexible freelance opportunity with an estimated workload of about 20 hours per week on an ongoing project basis. Contributors will capture and submit high-quality smartphone photos of everyday objects, along with the required metadata and product/reference URLs where applicable. The project uses approved assets to support the development and improvement of AI technologies.
What You'll Do
- Take clear, high-quality photos of everyday objects using a smartphone.
- Capture items across common categories such as household goods, electronics, clothing, food, books, toys, tools, outdoor items, signs, and other everyday products.
- Provide the required metadata for each submitted image.
- Include a valid product or reference URL when required by the project guidelines.
- Follow photography, quality, and submission standards provided by the project team.
- Review QA feedback and resubmit assets when corrections are needed.
- Work with the team to maintain an agreed weekly delivery schedule.
Requirements
- Must currently reside in Canada.
- Must be fluent or near-native in French.
- Must have a smartphone capable of taking clear, high-quality photos.
- Must have access to a variety of everyday objects that can be photographed.
- Must be able to follow detailed project and quality guidelines accurately.
- Must be reliable and able to commit to a weekly asset-delivery schedule.
- Must complete the required consent and agreement documentation before starting.
- No prior professional photography or AI data collection experience is required.
Scope of Work
- Target volume is approximately 100 to 400 approved photos or assets per week, depending on language, project priority, and contributor availability.
- There is no fixed hourly schedule; contributors may submit additional qualifying assets during the project if they meet the guidelines and QA standards.
- The current project deadline is October 30, 2026, though timing may change based on overall delivery needs.
Compensation
Compensation is paid per approved asset at a rate of $1.50 USD per approved asset. Only assets that meet quality requirements and pass QA are eligible for payment.
