Supply Chain Manager

Overview

micro1 is seeking Supply Chain Managers for a remote contractor project with 50 openings. The work is focused on helping train next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world supply chain input. No prior AI experience is required; the emphasis is on domain expertise.

What You'll Do

• Use ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar tools at a user level to support supply chain workflows and data entry.
• Create straightforward demand forecasts and supply plans using real or hypothetical data inputs.
• Build and complete supplier evaluation scorecards using cost, quality, reliability, and service criteria.
• Review inventory and stock levels, and identify discrepancies, risks, or potential shortages.
• Prepare clear supply chain reports using intermediate Excel functions such as pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas.
• Combine sourcing insights with purchasing knowledge to simulate end-to-end procurement scenarios.
• Document processes and communicate findings in concise written and verbal form for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite in a supply chain context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in demand planning or supplier scorecards, including direct responsibility for supplier performance monitoring.
• Proficiency with intermediate Excel functions used for supply chain analysis and reporting.
• Experience evaluating suppliers and managing supplier relationships through structured processes.
• Experience working with Purchasing Agents or in roles that combine sourcing and procurement responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently, organize tasks efficiently, and meet deliverables in a remote setting.
