About this opportunity
Overview
Mercor is hiring expert Evaluators in Software Engineering to review and assess AI-generated work products, including slides, spreadsheets, and documents, for real-world quality. This is a fully remote, hourly contract engagement, and work can be completed on your own schedule.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated artifacts in a software engineering context.
- Review outputs for usability, factual accuracy, presentation quality, and other errors.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback on the work products you assess.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Software Engineering at a top firm in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Native or professional fluency in English.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree, such as a master's degree or higher, from a reputable institution.
Contract Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or ended early depending on needs and performance.
- Payments are made weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- The role does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
