Overview

micro1 is seeking Computer & Information Systems Managers for a remote contractor opportunity supporting a customer initiative focused on technology management and project leadership. The work is intended to help train next-generation AI systems using real-world input from experienced professionals. There are 50 openings for this engagement.

What You'll Do

• Build project plans for focused technology initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with external vendors and help ensure deliverables meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Guide participants, support collaboration, and help resolve conflicts that may affect project progress.
• Track status, surface risks early, and support timely decisions to keep work on schedule.
• Prepare concise status updates and outcome reports for stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
• Maintain quality across the engagement so objectives are met within scope and constraints.
• Provide practical feedback to support improvement of AI models trained on technology management scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with full-cycle ownership.
• Experience with team management, cross-functional leadership, and conflict resolution.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation experience, especially with external technology providers.
• Familiarity with SLAs, vendor performance monitoring, and service delivery oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience creating clear project documentation and executive-level reports.
• Background in projects where insights informed process improvements or technology adoption decisions.
