Maths Expert - Task Based

Overview

ExpertWoka is seeking a Maths Expert for a short-term, task-based contract supporting advanced AI evaluation and data creation work.

What You'll Do

• Design and solve challenging problems that test large language model reasoning.
• Create clear, high-quality, step-by-step solutions with detailed reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers on task design and evaluation goals.
• Help define and build evaluation benchmarks across advanced mathematics topics.

Requirements

• PhD/MSc in Mathematics or an equivalent technical field.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English comprehension.
• Exceptional structured written communication.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations in a remote environment.
• Strong lateral thinking skills and the ability to evaluate complex reasoning pathways.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced remote-first setup.
• Personal desktop or laptop with a stable, high-speed internet connection.

Schedule

• Short-term contract lasting 12 weeks.
• Immediate start.
• At least 4 hours per day.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• 4 hours of overlap with PST required.

Project Details

• Task-based role focused on advanced mathematics and reasoning work.
• Compensation is paid per approved task.
