Overview
micro1 is seeking Korean Transcription Experts for a remote contractor project supporting an innovative customer. The work contributes to training next-generation AI systems through high-quality Korean and English language input. No prior AI experience is required; strong domain knowledge and language expertise are the key focus. There are 15 openings for this opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Transcribe audio samples accurately and consistently, including both Korean and English content.
- Review, edit, and proofread transcriptions to improve quality and correct mistakes.
- Annotate audio files with relevant metadata and contextual notes to support AI training needs.
- Work with project coordinators to clarify instructions and stay aligned with updated specifications.
- Complete transcription assignments within project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Share feedback on workflow, tool usability, and language-related challenges encountered during the work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Korean, with strong understanding of spoken and written language.
- Professional audio transcription experience, especially in high-accuracy environments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free language data.
- Familiarity with common transcription tools or platforms.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for clarifying ambiguity and documenting findings.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing requirements.
- Prior work in AI training, data annotation, or language resource development is a plus.
