Italian Language Expert

Overview

micro1 is seeking Italian Transcription Experts for a remote contractor project supporting audio transcription and AI training. There are 15 openings. The work involves using Italian language expertise to help train AI systems with high-quality real-world input. Prior experience in AI is not required, but strong domain knowledge is important.

What You'll Do

• Transcribe Italian audio samples with high accuracy, and transcribe English when needed, following project guidelines.
• Review and edit transcripts to improve completeness, consistency, and faithful representation of spoken content.
• Annotate audio data as directed to support AI model training.
• Identify unclear or low-quality audio and share feedback on transcription issues.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and handle linguistic nuances.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security across all assignments.
• Deliver transcripts on time while meeting quality standards and project milestones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Italian with strong spoken and written comprehension.
• Professional audio transcription experience, especially on linguistic or AI-related work.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with audio transcription tools and best practices.
• Ability to identify and annotate linguistic subtleties and audio ambiguities.
• Prior exposure to AI training data projects is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively.
