Overview
micro1 is seeking Hindi Transcription Experts for a remote contractor role on a high-impact project for an innovative customer. The work supports training next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world language input. No prior AI experience is required; strong domain knowledge and language expertise are the key qualifications. There are 15 openings.
Scope of Work
- Transcribe audio samples accurately, capturing both Hindi and English content consistently.
- Review and edit transcripts to improve quality, linguistic accuracy, and consistency.
- Add metadata and contextual notes to audio files to support AI training needs.
- Work with project coordinators to clarify guidelines and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Submit transcription tasks in line with project milestones and quality expectations.
- Share practical feedback on tools, workflow processes, and language-related challenges encountered during the work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Hindi, with strong understanding of spoken and written language.
- Professional experience in high-accuracy audio transcription, especially with varied or complex content.
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing precise language data.
- Familiarity with common transcription platforms or tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally when clarifying ambiguities or documenting insights.
- Comfort managing multiple assignments and adjusting to shifting project needs.
- Experience with AI training, data annotation, or linguistic resource development is a plus.
