Overview
micro1 is seeking 50 contributors for a short-term, paid AI project focused on US personal finance. This contractor role centers on real-world financial workflows, including household budgeting, tax filing, and digital banking tasks, to help train next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required; the key requirement is relevant domain knowledge.
Eligible participants must currently reside in the United States, hold US-based financial accounts, and have personally filed a 2025 US federal income tax return. The engagement pays a one-time lump sum of $2,535. To participate, contributors must securely connect their US-based financial account(s) via Plaid and complete a minimum of 4 project tasks. All project work must be completed by Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Scope of Work
- Complete structured personal finance tasks that simulate real US household budgeting and tax filing workflows.
- Connect US-based financial account(s) via Plaid as part of the project setup.
- Enter and verify financial data using online banking platforms, financial apps, and spreadsheets.
- Follow detailed written instructions and deliver work that meets strict quality and accuracy standards.
- Document your process clearly for each assignment.
- Manage your own task queue and complete all required work by the stated deadline.
Requirements
- Current residence in the United States.
- US-based financial accounts.
- Personal filing experience for a 2025 US federal income tax return.
- Ability to complete at least 4 project tasks.
- Comfort working with online banking tools, financial apps, and basic spreadsheet/documentation tools.
- Strong instruction-following, written communication, and data entry accuracy.
