micro1 is engaging QA Engineers for a remote contractor opportunity supporting an AI training project with a forward-thinking customer. The role focuses on quality assurance, data integrity, annotation, and comprehensive model evaluation. No prior AI experience is required; domain knowledge in QA is the key fit. Scope of Work
- Design, execute, and document test cases and scenarios to validate AI outputs against defined requirements.
- Review, annotate, and label datasets to improve machine learning training accuracy.
- Evaluate model predictions and identify inconsistencies, errors, and recurring patterns for improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams to share findings, ask clarifying questions, and confirm project requirements.
- Help refine testing methods tailored to AI-driven systems.
- Maintain organized records of evaluations, test results, and feedback through clear written documentation.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve data quality and model performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in software quality assurance, including test planning and defect reporting.
- Exposure to data labeling, annotation, RLHF, or model evaluation.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above for collaboration and reporting.
