Role

Provide on-demand over-the-phone interpretation for conversations between speakers of different languages, including projects in Legal, Healthcare, and Government.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming interpretation calls on demand
• Accurately interpret conversations between two languages
• Maintain professionalism when handling sensitive subjects
• Participate in three-way calls typically lasting 10–30 minutes
• Use relevant industry terminology and procedures

Requirements

• Advanced spoken ability in 2 or more languages
• Strong memory, note-taking, and communication skills
• Ability to pass a language assessment
• Previous interpretation experience is helpful but not required

• Schedule
• Remote and flexible
• Recommended minimum: 16 hours/week
• Calls typically occur during regular US business hours
