Overview
Handshake AI is seeking accomplished data experts to join its AI research community as subject-matter experts in business communication, strategy, and corporate storytelling. The program focuses on helping refine and evaluate large language models for high-stakes business use cases such as board-level presentations, strategic business cases, investor presentations, client proposals, and executive communications.
What You'll Do
- Develop domain-specific prompts for business and strategy-related tasks.
- Evaluate LLM responses for quality, usefulness, and alignment with high-stakes business communication needs.
- Contribute research and subject-matter expertise to projects across different business domains.
- Work independently on asynchronous projects with AI research teams.
Role Details
- This is a remote, asynchronous position.
- Work is part-time with flexible hours and no minimum hourly commitment stated.
- Project placement depends on availability.
- The fellowship operates year-round, with projects varying by domain.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of work experience in one of the following roles: data scientist, data analyst, database architect, or database administrator.
- Experience translating complex ideas into clear, persuasive presentations for executive or board-level audiences.
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work asynchronously with AI research teams.
