Overview
micro1 is looking for Generalists for Data Annotation to support a customer project focused on training next-generation AI systems. This role centers on image data annotation and requires careful, high-quality labeling, review, and validation work. No prior AI experience is required; relevant domain knowledge matters.
What You'll Do
- Annotate and categorize image data according to detailed project guidelines.
- Review annotations for consistency and quality, and correct discrepancies when needed.
- Provide feedback on annotation processes to help improve workflow quality.
- Work with project participants and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
- Document annotation methods and explain the reasoning behind labeling decisions.
- Adapt quickly to changing annotation standards and incorporate feedback into your work.
- Deliver assigned work within established project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data annotation, especially image-based projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Careful attention to detail and a commitment to accurate annotations.
- Comfort using annotation tools and platforms for image datasets.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects and meet goals.
- Flexibility to adapt to new guidelines, tools, or project needs.
- A background in computer vision, data analysis, or a related field is a plus.
