Overview
HumanSignal is looking for an AI Data Collector to help create real-world image datasets for AI systems. This is a flexible, task-based contractor opportunity focused on capturing high-quality images according to project instructions. The role is a 1099 contractor assignment and does not constitute employment with HumanSignal.
The work is centered on collecting visual data in everyday environments and may involve different projects from assignment to assignment. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, following detailed guidelines, and uploading collected data through provided tools.
What You’ll Do
- Capture assigned images in real-world environments based on project guidelines.
- Photograph objects, scenes, or activities in a range of settings, backgrounds, lighting conditions, and angles.
- Travel locally to collect data in places such as homes, offices, stores, parks, streets, or other everyday locations.
- Follow detailed instructions to maintain image quality, variation, and accuracy.
- Document your process when needed and upload collected data using provided tools.
- Work independently, manage your time, and meet project deadlines.
- Support the development and improvement of next-generation AI technologies.
