Overview
micro1 is engaging photographers for a video annotation project for a customer. The work involves helping train next-generation AI systems by reviewing real-world footage and producing high-quality annotations. This is a contractor role with a large number of openings.
What You'll Do
- Review video footage of robotic arms performing different tasks and observe each session carefully.
- Annotate and label video content according to project grading guidelines.
- Assess visual quality in footage using photography principles such as clarity, composition, and relevance.
- Identify and document visual nuances, discrepancies, or issues in robot task execution.
- Follow project protocols and grading rules consistently to keep annotations uniform and reliable.
- Submit clear annotations and written observations through the project workflow tools.
- Work asynchronously with trainers and project coordinators when clarification or quality support is needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional background in photography and a strong eye for visual composition and image evaluation.
- Experience with video annotation, data labeling, or similar AI training work, especially involving robotics or technical footage.
- Ability to notice subtle visual cues in dynamic environments.
- Comfort with repetitive guideline-based work where accuracy must remain high.
- Experience using annotation platforms or visual data tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous setting.
- Background knowledge in machine learning, robotics, or AI annotation projects is helpful but not required.
