Overview
Handshake AI is seeking experienced architects to support AI research through flexible, part-time contract work. This is an ongoing, project-based fellowship that can be taken alongside your current role, with opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise.
You will use hands-on architectural experience in design, building systems, and project delivery to review AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI reason more like a practicing architect. The work may involve residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated content using your professional architectural judgment.
- Provide feedback that reflects real-world experience in architectural design and project delivery.
- Help improve how AI handles architecture-related reasoning and outputs.
- Apply practical knowledge across residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use work.
Requirements
- Experienced architect with hands-on background in architectural design and building systems.
- Experience with project delivery in one or more of the following areas: residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.
- US work authorization is required.
Work Arrangement
- Flexible, part-time contract work.
- Remote role based in the United States.
- Fellowship term listed as August 31, 2026 to August 30, 2027.
