Prolific is seeking fluent Hindi speakers from India to act as evaluators on a fast-paced remote project focused on how well AI models understand and express human emotion, intonation, and cultural nuance in Hindi. This is freelance work with paid tasks that may require one uninterrupted hour, though many tasks are shorter. Researchers looking for these skills may pay up to $20/hr.
What You’ll Do
- Review Hindi audio clips generated by or for AI models.
- Assess whether the model conveys the intended emotions, intonations, and sentiments.
- Identify unnatural, culturally mismatched, or otherwise off-tone audio.
- Listen for human-like quality in AI-generated or processed audio.
- Check whether the intonation fits the Indian cultural context of the conversation.
Requirements
- Fluent Hindi speaker from India.
- Strong ability to notice subtle differences in sentiment and vocal delivery.
- Fluent English for following instructions and reporting.
- High emotional intelligence; acting, therapy, or linguistics backgrounds are a plus.
- Access to a quiet environment and high-quality audio equipment such as headphones or speakers.
- Must be able to verify right to work / identity from one of the listed onboarding regions.
