Job Description
Micro1 is hiring STEM and scientific-domain experts for a remote AI training project involving advanced problem-solving, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and technical evaluation.
You do not need expertise across every STEM field. Applicants should have strong knowledge in at least one relevant scientific or quantitative discipline.
The work involves solving challenging problems, developing rigorous reference solutions, and evaluating whether AI-generated answers are scientifically and technically correct.

What You’ll Do
- Solve complex scientific, mathematical, or technical problems within your area of expertise.
- Review AI-generated solutions for factual, mathematical, and scientific accuracy.
- Identify reasoning errors, incorrect assumptions, missing constraints, and technical mistakes.
- Develop clear and reproducible reference solutions.
- Use Python for calculations, data analysis, simulations, or solution validation.
- Interpret equations, datasets, experimental results, diagrams, or scientific literature when relevant.
- Perform sanity checks and validate numerical or analytical results.
- Compare alternative approaches and determine whether conclusions are supported by evidence.
- Clearly explain technical reasoning and corrections.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in at least one relevant STEM or scientific field.
- Practical proficiency with Python.
- Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate assumptions, constraints, edge cases, and potential sources of error.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience reviewing, validating, or troubleshooting technical work.
Familiarity with tools such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, Jupyter, or domain-specific scientific libraries may be useful, but no specific Python library is mandatory.
Expertise may come from academic research, industry, engineering, teaching, or other demonstrated technical experience. A specific degree or number of years of experience is not strictly required.

Micro1 is looking for experts who can begin immediately. Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and selected candidates are expected to begin their first task within 24–48 hours after onboarding.
