Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

micro1 is hiring 300 Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers worldwide for a fully remote AI training project involving software development, debugging, system architecture, technical problem-solving, and code evaluation.

You’ll create, solve, review, and validate challenging software engineering tasks across both front-end and back-end systems. The project also includes translating complete coding builds from one programming language to another.

Candidates should have substantial hands-on experience across the full application stack rather than specializing exclusively in front-end or back-end development.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components.
• Build user-facing features and the APIs, services, and data models supporting them.
• Trace requests and data across browsers, applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations.
• Navigate unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architectures.
• Diagnose issues involving application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment.
• Evaluate and improve code written in multiple programming languages.
• Review AI-generated software solutions for correctness and completeness.
• Assess code for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving and software architecture tasks.
• Help translate full coding builds between programming languages.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience building production full-stack applications.
• Meaningful hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end engineering.
• Production experience with multiple programming languages.
• Strong understanding of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integrations.
• Experience understanding and contributing to complete software-system architectures.
• Ability to work effectively within unfamiliar codebases.
• Strong debugging and technical problem-solving skills.
