Overview
Turing is looking for a Project Lead for an AI training engagement. The role focuses on leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale multimodal AI annotation projects, coordinating clients, teams, quality, timelines, and budgets. This is a fast-paced, project-based role with tight delivery timelines, often within 24 hours.
What You'll Do
- Manage project scope, resources, timelines, budgets, and delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and handle stakeholder communication.
- Lead and mentor Team Leads.
- Work with Quality Managers to maintain quality standards.
- Track throughput, accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Identify risks and take corrective action quickly.
- Scale teams and improve processes based on project needs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience overall, including 4+ years in team leadership.
- Experience managing complex, high-volume projects.
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and work with performance metrics.
- Experience in annotation, data labeling, AI training, RLHF, SFT, or model evaluation is preferred.
Project Details
- This is a project-based role with a defined number of evaluation tasks.
- Each task involves comparing multiple chatbots and providing a final assessment.
- Work schedule: five days per week, including weekends as required, with two weekdays off.
- Work hours: 7am-4pm PST.
- Duration: 16 weeks.
