Overview
Mercor is seeking Indonesia-based experts for a remote, hourly independent contractor role centered on supporting AI research and model evaluation through the use of personal ChatGPT history. This opportunity includes a required first-step form inside the application and is intended for candidates who can self-verify the stated eligibility criteria.
The work is described as a two-phase program: phase one is a one-time, deliverable-based step involving sharing personal ChatGPT history and completing a consent form. Candidates who complete phase one may be invited to phase two, which consists of ongoing project work within the same program.
What You'll Do
- Complete a short consent form authorizing access to your personal ChatGPT history.
- Share or link your ChatGPT history according to the application instructions.
- Provide the email address associated with your personal ChatGPT account.
- Self-verify that you meet the eligibility requirements before submitting.
Eligibility Requirements
- Based in Indonesia.
- Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker.
- Have lived and studied in Indonesia for at least 3–5 years.
- Your ChatGPT conversations must be primarily in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Heavy ChatGPT usage, with 40+ conversations over the past nine months.
- At least one saved memory on your ChatGPT account.
- A personal ChatGPT account that is more than 3 months old.
- Only personal ChatGPT accounts qualify; work, employer, and enterprise accounts are not eligible.
- Accounts containing proprietary or confidential material are out of scope.
Contract & Payment Terms
- This is a fully remote role.
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- Work can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or ended early depending on needs and performance.
- Payments are made weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported at this time.
Additional Notes
- Eligibility is verified by the research organization after the consent form is completed, and verification may take up to two weeks.
- The role is focused on training and enhancing AI systems using human expertise.
