About this opportunity
Overview
Mercor is hiring expert evaluators in data science to review AI-generated work products, including slides, spreadsheets, and documents, for real-world quality. This is a fully remote, hourly contract engagement. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on business needs and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated artifacts for usability in a data science context.
- Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation issues.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback on outputs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data science at a top firm in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Native or professional fluency in English.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) from a reputable institution.
Contract Terms
- You will work as an independent contractor.
- The role is fully remote and can be completed on your own schedule.
- Payments are issued weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Mercor states it cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
- Work on the project will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
