micro1 is hiring native English speakers from Ireland, Australia, and the United Kingdom for a remote AI training project focused on evaluating English audio recordings. This is a full-time contract opportunity with 50 openings. The role centers on assessing how naturally spoken English sounds in a target accent or region and providing structured feedback on audio quality.
What You'll Do
- Listen to short English audio recordings and evaluate them for quality.
- Judge whether speech sounds natural and native to the intended accent or region.
- Review pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and overall speech naturalness.
- Spot inconsistencies or unnatural elements in spoken English.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback on recordings.
- Follow project instructions carefully and keep evaluations accurate and consistent.
Requirements
- Native-level English proficiency with strong familiarity with your regional English accent.
- Strong understanding of pronunciation and natural speech patterns.
- Good listening and analytical ability.
- Ability to write clear feedback in English.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Background
- Experience in voice coaching, voice-over, or speech analysis.
- Background in music, audio engineering, or sound production.
- Experience in linguistics, phonetics, language teaching, media, or communications.
- Prior experience evaluating speech or audio recordings is a plus.
