Overview
micro1 is seeking native British English speakers for a remote AI training project focused on evaluating English audio recordings. The role involves assessing whether short recordings sound natural and native to British English, with 30 openings available.
What You'll Do
- Listen to short British English audio recordings and evaluate them.
- Judge whether the speech sounds natural and native to British English.
- Review pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and natural speech patterns.
- Spot unnatural, inconsistent, or incorrect elements in spoken English.
- Provide clear, structured feedback on each recording.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the work.
Requirements
- Native-level British English proficiency.
- Strong understanding of British English pronunciation, accents, and natural speech patterns.
- B2-level English proficiency or above.
- Strong listening and analytical skills.
- Ability to write clear feedback.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to successfully complete the required screening test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a voice actor, voice coach, audio engineer, or a similar professional.
- Background in voice-over, speech analysis, audio engineering, or sound production.
- Experience in linguistics, phonetics, language teaching, media, or communications.
- Previous experience evaluating speech or audio recordings.
