Creative & Design Specialist – AI Training

Job Description

micro1 is hiring 40 Creative & Design Specialists to contribute professional design and multimedia expertise to an AI training project.

You’ll complete structured creative tasks, evaluate AI-generated design and media outputs, and provide detailed feedback based on professional creative workflows.

The opportunity is open to professionals across areas such as graphic design, UI/UX, video editing, motion graphics, fashion design, presentation design, and audio/sound work.

A formal degree is not required, but previous paid experience performing human-data work for AI training is a firm requirement.

What You’ll Do

• Complete structured tasks using creative and design applications.
• Evaluate AI-generated designs and media for accuracy, usability, and realism.
• Compare AI outputs against professional creative workflows and standards.
• Provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback.
• Assign quality ratings according to defined project criteria.
• Document observations and recommendations for improving creative processes and tool usage.
• Complete assigned deliverables within project timelines and quality standards.

Creative Tools

Depending on your area of expertise, tasks may involve tools such as:

Figma, Canva, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CorelDRAW, CLO3D, Camtasia, Adobe Lightroom, Mural, Milanote, and Behance.

Experience with comparable professional creative tools is also accepted.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience using creative or design tools in areas such as graphic design, motion graphics, video editing, UI/UX, fashion design, presentation design, or audio/sound work.
• Proficiency with professional tools relevant to your creative specialty.
• Previous paid human-data experience for AI training is required. This may include data labeling, annotation, RLHF, AI output evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills at B2 level or above.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Ability to begin participating promptly.

Simply using AI tools to generate images, videos, designs, or written content does not satisfy the required AI training experience.

Education

No formal degree is required. Substantial practical and professional creative experience is the key qualification.

Contract & Compensation

This is a remote contractor opportunity with 40 openings.

Compensation is advertised at $30–$100 per hour.
