Job Description
Turing is hiring Illustrators, Sketchers, Cartoonists, Digital Artists, and Concept Artists for a fully remote AI project involving the creation of high-quality artwork from reference images.
Artists will create original visual variations while preserving character identity and consistency across different styles and themes.
The opportunity is open to interns, freshers, emerging artists, and experienced professionals with strong visual skills and a portfolio demonstrating their work.
What You’ll Do
- Create digital character illustrations and sketches using provided reference images.
- Produce creative variations while maintaining character identity and visual consistency.
- Apply fundamentals of composition, color, lighting, perspective, and proportion.
- Adapt artwork to different visual styles and project themes.
- Document creative decisions and style choices.
- Provide simple prompt metadata where required.
- Complete revisions and deliver polished artwork within assigned timelines.
Requirements
- Experience or demonstrated ability in illustration, sketching, cartooning, concept art, or a related creative field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with character design and stylized illustration.
- Experience with visual styles such as surreal, cinematic, vintage, retro, steampunk, or glitch art is relevant.
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Affinity Suite, or similar creative software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle revisions and meet project timelines.
