Overview
Welo Data is seeking a freelance, remote Quality Control Specialist to support an AI data annotation project. The role is task-based and involves reviewing trainer-submitted work against project guidelines to confirm accuracy, consistency, and quality. The schedule is listed as 20 hours per week, and the opportunity is described as long-term.
What You'll Do
- Review completed tasks submitted by Trainers, including the original question, the image, and the golden answer.
- Check whether the golden answer is correct based on the image provided.
- Identify answers that are incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, or inconsistent.
- Provide clear feedback or corrections to support data quality.
- Track recurring error patterns and share them with the project team.
- Make sure trainer output meets the project’s quality standards before final sign-off.
- Escalate unclear cases, such as illegible images or ambiguous questions, to the project team.
Requirements
- Native or strong proficiency in French, specifically French (Canada).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
- Good visual observation and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to apply guidelines and rubrics consistently and objectively.
- Strong written English communication skills for giving feedback.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, quality control, editing, proofreading, data review, data annotation, or data labeling is a plus.
- Reliable access to a computer and internet connection.
Compensation & Schedule
- Freelance, remote work format.
