Overview
micro1 is seeking Hospitalist Physicians for a remote contractor project focused on inpatient care and documentation standards. The work supports training next-generation AI systems using high-quality clinical review and feedback. There are 30 openings.
Scope of Work
- Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training purposes.
- Verify whether clinical statements and claims are supported by the record.
- Review inpatient documentation such as HPI, PMH, assessments, and plans.
- Apply project guidelines consistently and use the same standards throughout your reviews.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records.
- Provide feedback that helps improve model quality and data accuracy.
- Communicate clearly with the project team about your findings and progress.
Preferred Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience, ideally within the last 2 years.
- Strong familiarity with inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
- Comfort reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
- Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
- Experience working across different inpatient services or specialties is also a plus.
