Overview
micro1 is seeking 15 French Language Experts to support the training of next-generation AI systems through high-quality French transcription review, linguistic annotation, and audio analysis. This is a remote contractor role, and no prior AI experience is required.
What You'll Do
- Review and correct French transcriptions to ensure accuracy and linguistic integrity in machine-generated outputs.
- Add metadata tags and detailed annotations to transcripts to support downstream data use cases.
- Analyze audio content to identify nuances, dialects, and errors that automated tools may miss.
- Work with the customer team to maintain quality standards and support project goals.
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback to help improve processes.
- Stay detail-oriented across transcription and annotation tasks.
- Deliver work on time and follow project deadlines consistently.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in French with strong comprehension of spoken and written language.
- Experience in transcription, especially correcting or refining machine-generated outputs.
- Experience applying metadata tags and linguistic annotations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French, plus professional-level English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying aligned with the customer team.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional experience in audio transcription, linguistic review, localization, or related language work is strongly encouraged.
- Understanding of language technologies and machine learning data workflows is preferred.
