Data Entry Keyer

Overview

micro1 is seeking Data Entry Keyers for a customer’s advanced AI benchmark project. This contractor role focuses on creating high-quality, real-world data entry and validation challenges that help train next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required; relevant domain expertise is the key requirement.

The work is output-based, with experts paid per task that meets project specifications. The project also notes minimum weekly submission requirements and expects selected experts to begin work soon after onboarding.

Availability

• The team typically fills roles within 48 hours.
• If selected, you are expected to start your first tasks within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.

What You'll Do

• Design evaluation tasks that simulate real-world data entry and validation scenarios for AI agents.
• Build and curate complex datasets using CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, and technical documents.
• Include realistic issues such as malformed records, missing data, inconsistent formats, and other reconciliation challenges.
• Define the correct final state for each task, including the exact error cases the AI must identify and resolve.
• Write detailed grading rubrics with 35+ criteria to assess accuracy and completeness in AI output.
• Ensure tasks reflect the rigor of regulated or audit-sensitive environments.
• Collaborate asynchronously and refine materials through clear written and verbal communication.

Requirements

• Strong background in data entry, quality assurance, or data validation, especially in regulated or audit-sensitive settings.
• Ability to maintain and document high accuracy standards, including measurable error rates and outcomes.
• Experience spotting data inconsistencies, silent truncations, and formatting irregularities across multiple file types.
• Proficient written English for drafting detailed tasks and comprehensive rubrics.
• Highly disciplined, detail-oriented, and process-driven work style.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, distributed environment.
• Experience in compliance-, accuracy-, or data-integrity-sensitive projects is valued.
