Role Overview
CNTXT AI is seeking Data Annotators with strong Emirati Arabic expertise to support audio and transcription annotation projects, particularly ASR-related data.
The role involves transcribing, labeling, reviewing and validating audio data while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities
Transcribe and annotate Arabic audio according to project guidelines.
Review and validate transcripts against the original audio.
Identify and correct transcription errors, dialectal inconsistencies and audio-related issues.
Perform speaker identification and diarization.
Label and annotate audio segments accurately and consistently.
Review annotated data and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Follow annotation guidelines while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Work with dialectal Arabic and Arabic-English code-switching.
Meet established quality and productivity targets.
Work independently and communicate clearly with the project team.
Requirements
Previous experience in data annotation.
Strong knowledge of Emirati Arabic, including vocabulary, grammar, expressions and dialectal characteristics.
Experience with audio annotation and transcription projects, particularly ASR-related data.
Hands-on experience with transcription, speaker identification/diarization and audio labeling.
Ability to accurately review and validate transcripts against audio.
Good understanding of dialectal Arabic and code-switching.
Strong attention to detail and consistency when following annotation guidelines.
Ability to identify transcription errors, dialect inconsistencies and audio-related issues.
Experience with data annotation or review platforms.
Ability to consistently meet quality and productivity targets.
Strong Arabic language skills and excellent listening comprehension.
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with the project team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Arabic ASR, speech recognition, TTS or speech-data projects.
Experience working with multiple Arabic dialects.
Familiarity with annotation tools and workflows for speech and audio datasets.
Experience in quality control or review roles within data annotation projects.
