Role Overview

Toloka AI is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to build and deploy AI agents powering its core products. You will work across model training, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, agentic workflows, evaluation, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Train, fine-tune, and distill ML models, including reinforcement learning approaches.

• Build and operate Python-based agentic workflows for complex reasoning and human-expert interactions.

• Evaluate and benchmark models and support model selection and cost modeling.

• Own the ML lifecycle from research and solution design through production deployment and monitoring.

• Develop observability metrics for agent behavior, model performance, and system reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of ML experience, including model training, fine-tuning, and RL.

• 1+ year of experience building, evaluating, and deploying autonomous AI agents.

• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.

• Experience with open-source LLMs such as Llama or Mistral, including model distillation and adaptation.

• Advanced Python skills and strong software engineering practices.

• Ability to manage ML projects end-to-end from research to production.

• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
