Senior Data Analyst

Overview

micro1 is seeking 30 U.S.-based Senior Data Analysts for a remote contractor role focused on supporting AI work with large business data sets. This is a part-time opportunity for experienced data professionals who can apply strong quality assurance practices, review analytical outputs carefully, and help shape evaluation standards for AI-driven analytics.

What You'll Do

• Review data sets for personally identifiable information (PII) and flag sensitive content using data privacy best practices.
• Assess AI responses to data and business analysis scenarios and provide feedback to improve accuracy and precision.
• Use QA methods to validate data quality, identify inconsistencies, and verify analytical results.
• Help create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on analytical tasks.
• Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI analytics workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, statistics, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst working with large business data sets.
• Hands-on experience with QA processes such as data validation, reconciliation, and verification of analytical outputs.
• Strong experience handling and analyzing large business data sets.
• Experience managing data that contains PII or other sensitive material.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PII handling and data privacy best practices.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI or visualization tools.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in business analysis or data analytics.
• Prior exposure to AI, data labeling, or model evaluation work.
