Machine Learning (ML) AI Task Auditor - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Overview

Meridial is sourcing experienced technical specialists in Machine Learning to audit tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems. The goal of the project is to make sure AI training workflows and tasks are technically rigorous, practical, and highly accurate within the evaluator’s area of expertise.

This is a freelance contract opportunity with remote work. The role is intended for candidates with demonstrated professional experience in machine learning, and applicants will be considered for one specialty based on their background.

What You'll Do

• Review machine learning tasks for technical accuracy, realism, solvability, reproducibility, and alignment with reliable tests and evaluation criteria.
• Identify issues in data pipelines, model training workflows, or algorithmic logic.
• Provide clear and actionable technical feedback on flaws and inefficiencies found in the tasks.
• Help ensure the quality of tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems.

Requirements

• Professional experience and deep technical knowledge in machine learning.
• Hands-on familiarity with model development, data preprocessing pipelines, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating complex technical scenarios.
• Capability to work as a contractor with a secure computer and high-speed internet.
