Role Overview

Surge is hiring a Recruiter to manage full-cycle hiring across technical and non-technical roles. You will support hiring needs across Engineering, Research, Product and Partnerships, identify exceptional candidates in competitive markets, and manage searches from intake through to closing.

This role offers significant autonomy and requires strong judgment, urgency and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical positions.

• Source, screen, schedule interviews, follow up with candidates and support the closing process.

• Own recruitment searches from initial intake through to hire.

• Identify and engage high-quality candidates who may not be actively applying for jobs.

• Source candidates creatively across different channels and markets.

• Work directly with hiring managers to define roles and provide feedback when hiring requirements do not align with the available market.

• Manage scheduling, candidate follow-ups and offer details.

• Identify and improve recruitment processes that create unnecessary delays.

Requirements

• Experience successfully hiring strong candidates in competitive markets.

• Technical recruiting experience is a significant advantage.

• Ability to work effectively with limited structure or direction.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple recruitment searches simultaneously.

• Ability to work with urgency in a fast-moving hiring environment.
